I am not fluent in Japanese but i believe a pakkun is an imaginary creature in their culture. Much like a gnome or elf. Kun is a suffix used as a term of endearment which implies "little one". So this would be used for younger siblings, loved ones, etc. Say your little sisters name was Keiko. You would say Keiko-kun. Im not sure what Pak is supposed to mean, but i know Pac-mans name was derived from this word.
