Ah internet slang one of the many things that annoy me!. pwned is exactly the same as owned, im not sure if you are familiar with that but if you are on a fighting game and say Fred killed Lucy, Fred would say pwned or owned which means defeated really easily.

Pwn isn't actually a text messaging word it was created by gamers for gamers it is actually an accident though because someone accidentally pressed the p button instead of the o (seeing as they are very close) it is still meant to be own just with more awesomeness!
