You can make a simple syrup of sugar and water to taste. Reduce over low heat to desired consistency in a double boiler. Make it quite thick as the berry juice you will be adding will dilute the syrup. Combine and keep tasting til your syrup has the flavor and consistency you like best. I like mine thick and strong for ice cream topping and to roll up into crepes and dust lightly with powdered sugar.
