A fire wall protects a computer incoming data packets. A reverse firewall prevents the computer or more properly a network from sending out mass data packets when it is under control from an outside source.

Your clutch cable needs to be replaced, it is probably broken from it's shield at the firewall.
No Firewall
The PCM is bolted to the firewall, under the hood on the passenger side. You unplug, unbolt, and reverse to install. Depending on where the replacement came from it may need programmed.
Under the hood on the passenger side you will see a small box on the firewall with a plug-in...its held in with two screws..remove the plug-in, the screws and pull out the resistor. replacement is the reverse.

Integrated firewall.
Drain the radiator. disconnect the heater hoses as they go through the firewall. From inside of the cab, remove the heater core housing, then the core. Reverse the procedure to finish the installation.
