The WikiAssistants group is in no way affiliated with Answers.com or WikiAnswers. It is an unofficial group created by Yaofamily for the benefit of cleaning up the site.
WikiAssistants aim to help clean up WikiAnswers in all categories and aspects, with one theme that the whole group focuses on for the month. For every action in this theme a WikiAssistant earns 1 credit. Credit totals are submitted to the WikiAssistants' message board at the end of the month, and the totals are added to the user's grand total of credits. The person with the most credits becomes WikiAssistant of the Month.
To join, you will need at least 50 quality contributions (excluding Community) and must show that you are dedicated to helping WikiAnswers. Vandals or people who do not meet these requirements cannot join.

Every month the WikiAssistants group will focus on one category or aspect and must do as many actions in this as possible. Each action gives them one credit. Certain levels are achieved by these credits:
- Bronze WikiAssistant (500 credits)
- Silver WikiAssistant (1000 credits)
- Gold WikiAssistant (1500 credits)
- Platinum WikiAssistant (2000 credits)
- Diamond WikiAssistant (2500 credits)
