What is the bad thing about YouTube?

YouTube can be bad or good. If you use it for good uses it is a "good site" but, if you use it for bullying or inappropriate things than it will not be a good site. My technology said there is good stuff and bad stuff on the internet. Life is too short to do things like that! :)

Yes and no, it all depends on what you watch and how old you are. If you are mature enough to watch something that you are allowed and able to watch then no YouTube isn't bad at all because it gives you a chance to watch shows and watch some awesome YouTubers (There are many people that are bursting with talent on YouTube). On the other hand, if you are, let's say, really young and/or your parents or someone don't let you watch it yet you are still on it, especially on bad/innapropriate videos then, yes, YouTube can be considered "bad" but in all actuality it all just depends.

I personally don't think it's "bad" at all because it gives me a chance to catch up on shows I can't watch in the USA (TDramas!!) or can't watch on t.v. because I don't have cable and I also like watching certain YouTubers.

As with almost all websites, there will always be positives and negatives to the website. For instance, many complain about the new looks of YouTube after a major update because users are not accustomed to the new version of YouTube.

With a youtube account you may be able to see some videos that are not suitable for minors - and believe me, you don't want to see such videos. I'm not talking here about sexual content videos - those are banned on youtube anyways. Trust your mom, she really knows whats best for you. Don't be upset about this, you still have access to 99.99% of the videos without an account, so you really don't miss out on anything. I don't have an account!

The bad thing about Youtube is that some content may not be appropriate for all users. Parents sometimes complain about their children, who are above 13, seeing scary ads or inappropriate videos that have not been caught by the filter.

It is bad because you can forget whatever you are doing and their are lots of things on YouTube that are bad for your child.

to me youtube is good, it has the 2nd most ammount of traffic in the world (1st Google)
