A community forum should be open to the public. A focus group is a demographically specific group looking for responses on specific target questions.
The General Discussion forum is solely for discussion purposes, such as asking for opinions on certain subjects. The Just Chatting forum contains forum threads that are not as specific to a singular subject, hence are not discussion topics.
