The country code for Malaysia is +60.

You must drop the trunk prefix zero from the Malaysian domestic number when calling from elsewhere. For example, Kuala Lumpur's area code 03 becomes +60 3. Although this is effectively the same thing as just adding "+6" before the number, it is incorrect to say that Malaysia is country code +6.

Mobile numbers begin with +60 10 through +60 19, with 7 further digits.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
