Try the codes for Emmerson. 1468 worked for me.
1343 is the Visio code.
TVs work with remotes because TVs have an IR sensor on the front bezel for receiving a signal from a remote control. Your Asus monitor is NOT equipped with such a sensor to receive commands from a remote control. It will NEVER work with TV remotes. Not in a million years. Don't even think it.
Try 11381

According to Magnavox, there are no known codes for the u-verse remote for certain models, including Projection TV Model 50ML8105D. I use My original Magnevox Remote for the TV and the uverse remote for the Channels and on-off.
Yes, a Vizio remote can control an AT&T U-verse cable box if it is programmed correctly. Most Vizio remotes have a universal remote function that allows you to set it up to work with various devices, including cable boxes. You may need to enter a specific code for the AT&T U-verse box or follow the pairing instructions provided in the remote's manual. If successful, you should be able to change channels and control other functions of the cable box with the Vizio remote.

I just figure it out for my Direct TV Remote Model #RC64R it's: 20199 for my Samsung BD-1400P. I had to go to the online support for Direct TV to get the answer. From the way I understand it each remote control manufacturer will have its own code. I also upgraded the firmware from Samsung so sound / picture would work for all blue ray disks Doug
