Nazish Shabbir is an associate in the firm's Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Practice. Her practice focuses on the defense of multinational companies in class actions and complex products liability litigation. She joined SHB after graduating from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law.

During law school, Nazish was a UMKC Law Review staff member, vice president of the Intellectual Property Society and a law school emissary, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, Association for Women Law Students, Health Law Society, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity. She clerked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-Office of General Counsel, where she drafted opinion letters and litigation documents, and researched Medicaid, Medicare and other health care regulations. Nazish also interned with the University of Kansas Center for Technology Commercialization, where she researched prior art for patent applications, completed market research, drafted confidential disclosure agreements, and prepared licensing agreements based on negotiations between the university, third-party companies and individuals.
