I believe there is no way you could speed up downloading speed in Utorrent...
Steps are shown in YouTube. Don't believe me, try it
Your utorrent downloads may appear to be capped because of you Internet speed.
You can speed up uTorrent 3.2.2 by checking the tab at the bottom and ensuring that the download limit is set on unlimited. You can also make sure to download torrents with lots of seeds.

You can make a download (sometimes) increase in speed by allocating more bandwidth to the download. Right click on the torrent and there should be a bandwidth option. Set this option to high bandwidth.

Yes. There are two principles involved. 1. The more upload your uTorrent gives out, the more download it will receive back from other peers. 2. If upload in uTorrent is set too high, or to unlimited, download speeds will suffer as needed communications (resend requests, acknowledgment signals etc.) will not be able to get through. The general rule is to cap upload in uTorrent to 80% of the upload capacity of your internet connection. This will give out maximum upload while leaving room for the communications. That is not the "connection type" that the uTorrent speed guide is referring to. That is the speed of your LAN, not your internet connection. The 'Connection type" on the speed guide is based upon the upload speed of your internet connection. What the Speed Guide basically does is cap your upload in uTorrent so outgoing communications have room to get out. It also modifies some other settings to distribute your upload to get the most download back. I found this guide to be better: Optimizing µTorrent for Speed http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/optimizing-torrent-speed.htm
I assume you mean how to do you open a port for uTorrent in the SmartAX-MT882 modem. If so, portforward.com has guides for that modem and uTorrent, Unfortunately, there are 3 different models of that modem listed there, so I can not link directly to the guide. Do a search for "Smart" on this page. When you determine which model is yours click on it and you will be taken to a guide for uTorrent and the modem (with an advertisement in between-just press skip) http://www.portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/Utor/Utorindex.htm This guide has more up to date screen shots of uTorrent to go with the guide and other information to help uTorrent download speed: Optimizing uTorrent For Speed http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/optimizing-torrent-speed.htm
