Why does your tv keep turning blue?

My tv went to black and white when I switched it on yesterday, so I read on the internet blog somewhere to unplug for 15 mins and then plug back on and switch on. I did this but left it for 20 mins or more and presto the tv was in colour when i switched it back on. magic!!

If this is a cathode ray tube the tube has three electron guns one red one green and one blue. If the green one fails all images will appear red pink or blue tinged.

If the red blue effect is inone patch on the crt which doesnt move then it may have been exposed to a magnetic field. The only way of fixing this fault is to use a degaussing loop.

Because light's primary colors are red, green, and blue. You should go to a person how knows a lot about technical stuff because when the TV shows light's primary colors only, the TV has a problem.

Depending on the type of TV you have, Sony or not, it could be from several different causes: 1. Shorting CRT. 2. CRT/LCD/DLP/Plasma driver circuit failure. 3. Loose RGB cable (at either end)

There's something wrong with it. Take it to a repair facility.
