If you have been an active member in Community Outreach and your badge is missing, please contact the program coordinator at communityoutreach @ wikianswers.com (no spaces).
There use to be a requirement that you had to complete 10 actions a month or you were removed from the program after 2 months of inactivity.
If you are an active member of Community Outreach, your WikiGuide badge is in the status section on the right side of your profile. If you were once a WikiGuide and your badge is no longer on your profile, you probably were removed from the Community Outreach program. Previously, WikiGuides were removed from the program if they went inactive for two months.
The Sovereign WikiGuide badge has a dark purple background and corresponds with the Royalty program theme.
The personal benefits to be gained by a WikiGuide far outweigh any other reason for joining Community Outreach. WikiGuides gain self-esteem and great satisfaction for going out into the community, mingling, welcoming new contributors, making friends, and helping create and maintain a warm and friendly community environment. In doing so, they gain recognition on the site for their efforts. Our Status Levels provide each WikiGuide with goal-setting opportunities that each can work toward on his or her own with no competition. Incoming volunteer WikiGuides receive a WikiGuide badge. WikiGuides have four levels to achieve by receiving Community Outreach credits for performing community actions. WikiGuide Leveling Structure: WikiGuide - 0 - 49 missions Noble WikiGuide - 50 - 249 missions Royal WikiGuide - 250 - 499 missions Imperial WikiGuide - 500 - 1499 missions Sovereign WikiGuide - 1500+ missions *Badge for each new level of achievement will replace existing badge.
If you have lost your badge due to inactivity, you are no longer a member of Community Outreach. There is now no minimum requirement of missions you have to complete each month to stay active.
