Why has your iPod Touch stop connecting to the internet?

If it says "Cannot connect", you can't go on the internet. What made you think you could? no silly. You have to be in a wi-fi area to go online.

Try resetting the router (there is a small reset button on every router). This is usually the problem.

It may also be because you are too far or too close to/from the router. There may be too many walls or objects blocking the reception, too.

The same thing is happening to me what u gotta do is go to setting click general then I to usage click delete and it will be good again!!

Are you the wifi is working? correct secuity key inputted? How old is your router? I know there are some issues with new devices not working on older routers.
