It is not necessary to talk like that just because you are on the internet. I, too, am on the internet, but I prefer to use proper grammar and spelling as best as I can. However, a lot of people prefer to use the slang forms of words because it's faster to type out and they get the same message across. This isn't the same case with grammar though, either some people truly don't know how to structure their phrases correctly, or they don't care because it's "just the internet". The latter reason is a very stupid one in my opinion.
