first, check to see if something is wrong with it. have you dropped it recently? has it gotten wet? if so, that might be the problem.

if not, then consider the age of your phone. is it brand-new, or has it been handed down to you? you might want to check with the past owners to see if they had trouble as well.

lastly, maybe the phone just has a defect. take it to a local Verizon (or whatever your phone service may be) store and see if you could get a trade-in.
