It makes it denser, it effects the buoyancy. Things float better in salt water. It makes the water a better conductor of electricity. It lowers the freezing temperature. This is why salts melt the frozen ice.
Hope this helped! (:
Both are neutral.
Common table salt is formed when ocean water evaporates. This salt is most easily collected when salt water is left to evaporate in a bowl-like container with an open top.
Table salt is a kind of salt hence the name.
It is sodium chloride, also known as regular table salt.
The solvent is the water (chemical formula H2O). The solute is the salt (table salt, NaCl or another substance).
Both epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) and table salt (sodium chloride) are water-soluble ionic compounds that have positive and negative ions in a 1:1 ratio.
Sea salt is produced through evaporation from ocean water or water from salt water lakes, usually with little processing. Table salt is typically mined from underground salt deposits. More heavily processed to eliminate minerals and usually contains an additive to prevent clumping.
Table salt (sodium chloride) and water (H₂O) are alike in that they are both essential for life and commonly used in cooking and food preparation. They differ in their chemical composition; table salt is an ionic compound made of sodium and chloride ions, while water is a molecular compound composed of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Additionally, salt is a solid at room temperature, while water is a liquid. Their physical properties and roles in biological processes also vary significantly, with salt acting primarily as a seasoning and preservative, and water serving as a solvent and medium for biochemical reactions.
because ocean water has salt in it and lots of it..
Salt and the water is the solvent in which it is dissolved. P.S-There are many more dissolved substances, however salt is the main one.
Table salt.
salt water from the ocean.
