How do i make a fence on the motte and bailey castle?

There are 3 ways to attack any castle: Siege: you surround it and wait for the defenders to run out of food. Direct attack: Either by ramming the doorway or breaking a wall by artillery or undermining. Assault: A siege tower or scaling ladders over the wall. Or of course a combination of the above. But what a castle is, by and large, is a defensive fortification, its very design & location is there to make any attack as difficult as possible and keep its inhabitants safe from enemy attack. you can also defend a motte and bailey castle by staying on the high ground and rationing your food. people got very scared and frightened of these attacks and when that happened they killed themselves.And that's it.

1. Scrunch up loads of newspaper and put them on top of each other in the from of a hill. Do a small one and a big one (do this on a board of cardboard painted green)

2. now papier mache the newspaper, holding it together.

3. Let it dry then paint it a grass green or cover with fake turf (you can get this from an art shop)

4. Take about 30 lollipop sticks and stick them around the edge making the fence on the bailey.

5. Now make the houses in the bailey, you can do this with small yoghurt pots or cardboard. You have to make the tower on top of the bailey, again you can do this with yoghurt pots or cardboard.

if you were planning on invading the motte and bailey castle, then first you would need to travle there. When you get to the castle you will need to cross the bank. Then climb up a small hill towards the village. After that you would need to defeat the village before you deafeat the castle because there is more people in the village than there is in the castle. After you have deafeted the castle you would need to walk across the bridge and arrive at the castle. Then you would need to deafet the castle. This castle is very hard for a strong fighter to get through. Most of the invaders would have died befor they reached the castle because it is so hard work.
