Well, monkeys have different habitats depending on the type. Usually (your right) they do live in the rainforest's. They adapt by making a habitat for themselves and they also climb trees regularly. It is not really... I would say accurate to keep a monkey, they need to learn and develop in their own world just like we do. The similarities are:
1.) if somebody kidnaps you, you won't live in your own environment anymore you would be trapped. That's kind of how the monkey feels when we keep them as pets.
