Ferries are operated by Statue Cruises and there are two locations where you can take the ferry. The vast majority of visitors take the ferry from Lower Manhattan, the closest station is Bowling Green. Also from the New Jersey side of the Hudson River at Liberty State Park. There is no cost for the visit, but you have to pay for the ferry passage. Pedestal and Crown costs $21.00 per adult, $12.00 for children. Reserve tickets only are included in the City Pass, New York Pass and the Explorer Pass
Go before 2pm if you want to visit the crown of the Statue, Security screening means a long waiting time prior to boarding the ferry.
