Stock up on dehydrated foods, water, camping supplies, medical supplies, ammunition, clothing, and gas up the truck (Jeep if you HAVE one). Head toward the tropics. The Mediterranean might be nice, but you can't drive there from here. Somewhere around the Equator is where you would have the best chance for survival from the imminent eruption of North America's wildest SuperVolcano.
A super eruption because the volcano underneath Yellowstone is a supervolcano. it is going to be a very very very very very very big eruption basicly you will die if it goes off so yeh run like hell!!!!!!
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that Yellowstone will erupt in 2018. The volcano is closely monitored by experts, and any potential eruption would likely be preceded by warning signs.
Most scientists believe that Yellowstone is not truly active and that they would be able to detect if the Yellowstone volcano was going to erupt years before it erupted. But there is no way to no for sure if the Yellowstone caldera is truly active (building up for an eruption).
That the Yellowstone volcano will erupt again in inevitable, but scientists do not know when. The volcano as it is now has only produced 3 super eruptions 2.1 million, 1.3 million, and 640,000 years ago this gives and interval range of 800,000 to 660,000 years. A smaller eruption occurred about 70,000 years ago. Given these intervals and the fact that scientists have not found any real evidence of an imminent threat, it is unlikely that it will erupt in our lifetimes.
The YellowStone eruption would in fact be very loud. Your ear drums give at about 150 decibals. YellowStone would surpass that by a long ways away. Plus, you probably wouldn't even hear it! Your ear drums would already be busted before your brain could even pick it up. In terms of what it will sound like, it will sound like a giant earth quake going off. But in the end, if it erupts we're done for
Tourists Going Round Yellowstone Park - 1899 was released on: USA: January 1899
They can put up some signs, or symbols such as an example like the typhoons signal...
yes
Yellowstone National Park is a super volcano. Yellowstone is over a "hot spot" which is why there are geysers there. The hot spot blew millions of years ago leaving a caldera where the geysers are. Yellowstone is a volcano but do not go expecting an eruption unless you can wait a few million years.
The last magmatic eruption of Yellowstone was about 70,000 years ago while the last super eruption was about 640,000 years ago. We have no way of predicting when it will erupt again as, contrary to popular belief, it does not erupt at regular intervals.
The Philippines prepared for the eruption of the Taal Volcano by conducting evacuations of residents in high-risk areas, setting up temporary shelters, distributing face masks to protect against ashfall, and coordinating rescue and relief efforts. The government also raised alert levels and issued warnings to the public to stay safe and informed.
Will you prepare dinner? Is he going to prepare for the exam?
