There are two major types of work permits offered in Canada. It includes;

Openwork permit:

This kind of work permit can only be issued if you are a part of a dependent family member. The family should be settled in Canada and a participant in the working holiday of the International experience in Canada. A person who is a refugee claimant can apply to the bridging open work permit applications in this category.

Employer-Specific Work permit: you can apply for this permit during a set or an amount of time. It is sometimes in the same location as the employer-specific work permit. The condition is that the employees need to write in the permit. The employer's name and period of employment should be clearly stated.
