Boise is in the Coniferous Forest and Mountain Meadows Biome; Most of N. and Central Idaho are dominated by evergreen and coniferous forests. The vegetation of this biome is characteristics of a rageland; grasses, forbs, and shrubs. These biomes are very imporatant for grass grazing animals such as deer and elk. Great area for backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, and hunting.
There are a great deal of Coniferous forests in Canada You should come visit.
The three forest biomes are Coniferous Forests, Deciduous Forests, and Tropical Rain Forests. Coniferous Forests are located in Canada, Alaska, Northern Asia, and Northern Europe. They are adapted for supporting cold ecosystems and great trees that produce their seeds in cones. Deciduous Forests are home to organisms that live throughout balance seasons such as "having as much summers as winters, springs and falls." Tropical Rain Forests manly have summer seasons and rain seasons. It is warm all year long and the ecosystems living there never encountered snow before. Many unknown species live there.

Northern boreal forests.
There are many species of conifer. The continents of the Americas, Africa, Australasia, Europe and Asia all have conifer forests. They are larger in the more clement climates of sothern Africa, southern Australasia, east and western, Americas, large areas of Europe and sia. Conifers primarly prefer cooler climates without excessive rainfall. A very few species can survive hotter climes. Here in Australia, large plantation forests of conifers particularly radiata pine are being grown for harvesting. The unique Huon Pine of Tasmania is almost extinct after huge forests were felled for boat building Great boat wood). Companies such as Bryant and May plant alot of pine around the world for match production.
The kiwi's natural biome is native forests but it is now found in kauri and coniferous forest where the undergrowth is dominated by tree ferns. However, due to habitat clearing, the kiwi is now forced to survive in semi-wooded forest, scrubland and agricultural areas. Other species live in the grassland biome. The Haast Brown kiwi, for example, can be found in high sub-alpine tussock grasslands. The Great spotted kiwi lives in alpine grassland in part of its range, and lower grasslands in others.
They are browsers, not grazers, and thus can live in such forests since they eat willows and other browse found in coniferous forests. Their long legs are great for stepping over deadfall, hooves for traveling the softer edges of peat bogs when other animals may get stuck or sink and disappear forever. Their long legs also allow them to run from predators like wolves and not be hampered by brush and such.
The marten is an animal of northern forests, where it spends a great deal of time in the trees, in pursuit of birds and squirrels.
In dry clilmates such as the southwest, in wet climates such as the northwest, in moderate climates like the midwest and northeast, and in hot moist climates like the south east. Primarily, in the US, all forests are some mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees.
it doesnt have a biome or vegetation zone
