∙ 12y agoCoral Reefs have chemicals that are able to be used as medicine. Some doctors also use coral limestone to replace a human bone. They also protect the Coastlines of islands from erosion. It can create sand that forms beaches. The coral reefs also absorb carbon dioxide that prevents the earth from becoming too warm. There are A LOT of reasons if I say so myself!
