The Great Bear Rainforest is along Canada's west coast, north of Vancouver. It does not have tropical animals, it is a wet temperate environment. Cool between September and March, and warmer in the summer.
The animals there include Bears (Brizzly, Brown, Black), deer, goats, rabbits, manyground mammals and many larger birds including various species of eagle, raven/crow, hawks, gulls etc. The seacoast has abundant variety of fish and some whales, predominantly orca. There are also otter, sea lion, and seal.
Salmon return to streams from which they were hatched every fall, and are a primary source of food for the bears of the rainforest.
