Uzbekistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia. Kazakhstan is bordered by the Caspian Sea but this sea is also isolated from oceans.

The western section was bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, The Black Sea, and the Red Sea. The eastern section was bordered by the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Arabian Sea.

The largest inland body of water in the world is the Caspian Sea. It is located between Europe and Asia and is bordered by five countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, and Azerbaijan. Despite its name, the Caspian Sea is technically a saltwater lake.
