And in the book, The Hot Zone, it said that elephants live there part time. So, the elephants get filoviruses, don't die from it, go back out into the jungle, and infect monkeys, bats, humans, etc, etc.#3: The people who contracted Marburg may have accidentally cut themselves somewhere in the cave.#4: Contaminated water.I hope that these theories serve you well.
