There are no major rivers in Cyprus any longer- it has never had more than one or two anyway, as it is effectively in the Middle East which is too hot to allow rivers to form.

It's one main river USED to be the Pedolos, which ran through the capital city of Nicosia- however, this has long since dried up due largely to the construction of dams to provide reservoirs. Although Cypriots still refer to it as 'the river', for most of the time it's just a dried-up stony bed, supporting only the occasional small stream if there has been an exceptionally rainy period.
