Some of the dangers of living close to Nile river are snakes (deadly venomous Egyptian cobra and Black Mamba), crocodiles (well familiar Nile crocodiles that can grow up to 20 feet which kills 200 persons on average every year), mosquitos (the most dangerous carrier of parasites causing malaria) and sandflies (the carrier of parasites causing Leishmaniasis disease that affects Liver and Spleen).
they have to face there crops dieing
The ancient Egyptians were fairly healthy considering the conditions they endured. Malaria was common, plus snake and croc bites. Also the dysentery and other diseases that the muck from the annual Nile flooding encouraged.
The Nile River floods annually, bringing fresh fertilizer to the crops. The floods can not be controlled and would occasionally destroy crops, drown homes, and or overflow the banks to heavily.

Advantages of face to face communication is that you can look at a persons body language in order to tell how they are feeling. Disadvantages is that it can be awkward sometimes.
