Lord Elgin Vocational Institute was in operation in Niagara Falls (Ontario) from 1967 - 1989.

It was a vocational school offering 2-year training programs.

In 1989, vocational training for students in Niagara falls was transferred to NFCVI, which was re-opened as the newly renamed Niagara Falls Secondary School in September 1990.

Also in September 1990, the Lord Elgin building was re-opened as Saint Michael High School. Although it was a "regular" high school, St.Michael also had the facilities in place from when the building was used for vocational training and as a result, as able to offer students classes in such hands-on subjects as Cosmetology, auto-repair, woodworking and food services.
