The American Continental Divide is the Rocky Mountains. Any rain falling west of them or on the northern side of them eventually goes into the Pacific Ocean bu the Colorado, Colombia, American, Sacramento, Snake, San Jauquine and other Rivers...anything to the east flows into the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico via the Rio Grande, Mississippi-Missouri, Ohio, Hudson, Delaware, Potomac, and other rivers.
