Aspenvale Cemetery: Located in Chilhowie, VA. This is one of the oldest cemeteries in the Smyth County Area. Containing many civil wars soldiers & many unmarked graves (many with only illegible slate stones, hidden in a grove of trees).

Octagon House: Located on Thomas Bridge Rd. in Marion, VA. This eight sided home, built in the 1800's by Abijah Thomas, is said to be haunted by the spirits of the slaves owned by Thomas.

Chilhowie High School: Located in Chilhowie, VA, school is built on an Indian burial site. It is said to be haunted by the spirits of the Native Americans whose graves have been disturbed.

St. Clairs Bottom Church & Cemetery: Located in Chilhowie, VA. This is one of the oldest churches and cemeteries in Smyth County Virginia. It is rumored to be haunted by the spirits of slaves and Indians that were forced to sit in a balcony during church services & the cemetery hosts graves over a hundred years old.
