That location is the desert in Algeria, which is part of the Sahara Desert. The Sahara Desert spans 10 countries: Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Sudan, and Tunisia. The east-west length of the Sahara Desert is 4,800 km (2,983 mi).
You have to bring your water with you when you go into the Sahara desert. However there are a few places which, if you know their location, do have fossil water (in an aquifer) present at the surface. These places are called oases.
