The Bagh-e Babur was built by the first Mughal Emperor Babur at Kabul, Afghanistan. It is one of the earliest surviving Mughal gardens. Though he conquered India and lived there until his death in 1530, he wished to be buried at the Bagh-e Babur at Kabul. He died at Agra and his body was transferred to Bagh-e Babur by his widow Bibi Mubarika.
