The Skywalk does not cross the Grand Canyon.
Only one person survived but he couldn't walk again because everyone always goes feet first.
there are no bridges crossing the grand canyon because it is too big 277 miles. the grand canyon sky walk only extends a Little over it.
On 20 March 2007..
walk..
Oh, dude, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was created in 2007. It's like this glass bridge that lets you walk out over the canyon and feel like you're floating in mid-air. Pretty cool, but also kind of terrifying if you're afraid of heights.
it is a big plastic bridge in the shape of a U the is hanging of the edge of the grand canyon. :D
Most people drive a car. But you can ride a shuttle van, a train, a helicopter, or a plane. And there's no law that says you can't walk to The Canyon.
Well if you are driving then it is really far. Too far to walk!!
People enjoy activities there such as hiking, canoeing, mining, canyon exploration, and, yes, even riding donkeys. We all wish to go to the Grand Canyon to learn about erosion, native americans, and rocks. At the park, people like to walk on the Grand Canyon, look over the Grand Canyon, and go into the Grand Canyon. Yes, you can go in riding a donkey or hiking. (Donkeys - duh!) It takes a couple days to get to the bottom, though. Lastly, People can get jobs as rangers and earn money. Hope this helps!
Visiting the Grand Canyon is an awesome experience for visitors as they as they gaze at the vastness and depth of the panorama. Travelers need to take time to walk along the rim, even if only for a short distance, to really appreciate the greatness of this natural wonder. Most visitors walk the South Rim from east to west.
About this time of year would probably be pretty good and I would think at Christmas. As we get towards the summer months it will be hotter. I understand it runs about 25.00 per person to walk on it.
