Go stand at the top of the steps, find the marker, and stand where Dr. Martin Luther King stood when he made the "I Have a Dream" speech. Standing at the top of the steps is also a great spot to take photos of the mall, the reflecting pool, Washington Monument, and the Capitol. Then walk over to the side and visit the Vietnam and Korean War memorials.
