The world's largest kite title is shared by three matching kites. The "MegaFlag" is a fully functional, self-flying kite measuring 130 feet wide and 80 feet deep. That's an astounding 10,400 square feet!! The kite is an inflatable "soft" design with no sticks or spars. It was designed and constructed by Guinness Record Holder Peter Lynn of New Zealand.
The MegaFlag has the graphic of the United States of America flag and is owned by David Gomberg in Neotsu, Oregon. The MegaKite is patterned after the Kuwaiti flag and is owned by the Al-Farsi family in Kuwait. The MegaMoon, with a traditional Japanese graphic showing a rabbit in front of the moon is owned by Modegi-san of Japan
