Some people make paper stickers called decals to customize parts of the mini figure.Some even cut up Lego bricks and pieces. one top the previous statement you can also cheaply make great quality home make customs using plaster of Paris to make the imprint then use resin to make the actual part itself. it is extremely easy. thus the reason i use that method
