One word that might be helpful is "laud" although many times this has a liturgical connotation associated with it.

because words mean things. if you say nice things to someone, it means something nice. if you say mean things, then its mean HOPE THIS HELPS :)
because it is not nice to say something that you know it is going to upset someone.
Its someone who is very nice.
Telling someone that they look "lovely" is a nice thing to say.

Wonderful! You can do it! That is super! You did great! I can see how hard you worked!
When You First Meet Them.
In Hawaiian, you can say "E nanea i ka wā" to wish someone to have a nice time.
People would say that if someone had peed their pants.
Of course it is, when you greet someone always say HI!
Just say it exactly the way you want to say it, there's no "one" way of saying thanks to someone for being nice.
