What was the first type of LEGO?

Simple wooden toys (not building blocks) simmilar to those of the late 19th and early 20th century. The LEGO company is over 100 years old and debued there first origenal products in 1935. The "LEGO Duck" was a 1 piece set consisting of a wooden duck on wheels. There was also "LEGO Train" a 3 piece set with an engine and 2 cars. Interlocking plastic bricks were introduced later on in 1949.

Legos mostly come in rectangle and square shapes. They come in a variety of sizes as well. There are other specialty kits that include other various shapes unique to that kit.
