I will not recommend them, only fun for collecting. If you want to start fingerboarding you should go with a tech deck, they are much better. Then you should get a wooden fingerboard, bearing wheels and some better trucks.

One can find examples of tech deck tricks on the 'Tech Deck' website. There are also a number of demonstration videos for tech deck on YouTube. One simply has to enter tech deck into the search bar there.
I am a huge fan of fingerboards/tech decks if you are living in the south of England find a woolworths and you can get them on sale in January for $7.50 or £15 the newest edition!! Well the DC Tech Deck is one of the most rarest techdecks and you can't buy it at any store. I found my off the streets so hopefully you will find one also.
You can spot if a tech deck is fake when it does not have the grip tape, and if there are pictures on both sides of your tech deck.
