Broadway begins at Bowling Green in Lower Manhattan, New York City, and runs north through the borough, continuing through the Bronx and into Westchester County. It is often considered the longest street in New York City, stretching approximately 33 miles. Its most famous section is in the Theater District, where many of the iconic Broadway theaters are located.
