A bakugan trap is designed with differant shapes. A bakugan trap can only be played after the gate card has been opened,place the bakugan on the gate card *NOTE* the trap must be the same attribute as your bakugan(s) on the gate card. You may change the bakugan attribute to one of the attribute symbols on the trap.
How come Bakugan traps don't have gs?
Bakugan traps are not designed to attack. That is why they do not have G power. Most traps contain multiple elemental symbols, Aquos, Darkus, Pyrus etc.. They allow you to change your symbol on your attacking bakugan to one of the different symbols on your trap. Also the symbol on the outside of the trap must match the symbol on your attacking Bakugan to use it in the battle. Hope this helped.

Bakugan Traps are used for helping your Bakugan, either by giving it a Gpower boost or by changing its attribute to any of your choice. Traps are good if you want to give your Bakugan a sudden change of attribute to bring about a twist in the game, or if you don't have a Bakugan strong enough to face your opponent. If you want to stop a trap, I recommend using AbilityCard Counter Trap Alpha. This can really spin the game back on its original course. the square trap bakugan is zoack and has 1 attribute symbol and like all traps,can only be played after the gate card is opened and must be the same attribute as your regular bakugan. Example-aquos zoack changes your aquos bakugan to haos. Actauly Zoack is not the only square trap and you can get him in Darkus,Pyrus,Haos,Subterra,Aquos and Ventus so you can get him in all types so you are wrong anyway what does a pyrus Coin Scorpian change your attribute to?
