Iraq
Yes. Japan is considered an Asian country
Yes, Hmong people are considered Asian.
Anyone who is born in the continent of Asia can be considered Asian. People of Asian descent can also be considered Asian although some people from the Middle East would not identify themselves as Asian.
It depends on the definitions of those two terms. In terms of appearance, Persians typically look like Southern Italians or Greeks in terms of coloration. The US Census classifies Persians as White, but individuals may use the terms differently than the US Census. If you are using the term "Asian" to refer to any person from the continent of Asia, then YES, Persians are Asian. However, they have more Caucasian features than Indian or Chinese features, so if the general categories of "Desi", "East Asian", or "Southeast Asian" are intended by "Asian", then NO. If you are using "White" to refer to people of European ancestry, Persians are not Europeans, so NO, but if you are simply considering the color of a person's skin, then they would be "White", but closer to Olive. The above picture gives a general idea of what Persians look like.
No. Pashtuns are a Central Asian people and share much more in common with Persians, Kurds, and Qashqai then with Arabs.

No. Asian is a term for people of Asia. The Asian continent has many different ethnicities comprised of different races. A significant portion of Asians are Caucasoids, such as the Indians, Persians and Afghans. Mongoloids make up most of East Asia and South East Asia, such as China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. A smaller group is the Australoid, which has the Negritos in Asia.
Syria is part the middle east and so Syria is also part of Asia such as Pakistan and Palestine Afghanistan and Iran . In the uk they are considered Asian, but in the us they are considered Arab. Hope that answers your question :)
The Middle East is part of the continent of Asia, so - technically speaking - yes. Persians are very proud of their long and heroic past and of a highly developed culture that goes back to the times of Babylon and the ancient Greeks. In those terms they often feel more closely connected to the ancient Hellenistic culture than to the Arab culture. And of course they would never feel "Asian" in the 'Far East' sense of the word.
Yes, the Vietnamese ethnic group is a part of the Asian race.
