As of my last update, potbelly pigs are not classified as pets in South Australia and are subject to specific regulations. They require a permit for ownership, and potential owners must comply with local council regulations. It's important to check with local authorities for the most current laws and any specific requirements before acquiring a potbelly pig.

very often black but can be brown white or gray also
The males grow tusks and on occasion so do some females.
A "Normal" pig, usually a Purebred Landraise, or Large White, or even a hybred of both is much larger than a potbelly pig, a normal pig will grow its entire life. Where a pot belly pig will stop growing after only a few years. Also the pot belly has a much stubbier face, legs, and body. the distended bellies of the potbelly are also unlike the normal pigs. P.S. There are many types of pigs, only a small few are pink, there are also black, red and spotted.
