Are there sharks in the waters of Jamaica?

Yes there are sharks in Jamaica but nothing too scary, the main sharks will be reef sharks bith black and white tip. You may get the rare tiger or bull shark but they are few and far between. I've been Scuba diving in Jamaica, but have yet to see a shark.

Yes lots, the bull shark being one of them. Near the beaches it is mostly reef sharks (harmless) and hammerheads. It is completely safe though attacks are unheard of. This bigger sharks are out in the deep. I don't live there though just been on holiday

There are sharks that attack people in Jamaica, but there is no record of attacking people to eat them. Although not common, the bull shark is found in Jamaica, considered possibly the most dangerous to humans.
