Nothing Women were not treated equally and were not taught anything
Yes, men and women should be treated fairly. Girls should be treated fairly as boys are.
African American women are viewed as people, humans and they are treated equally to everyone else. There are people who treat them badly and view them badly, but it not commonly found today.

Yeah they are given the same name SHIELA
Well, one right women are still fighting for today is, getting paid the same amount of money as men for the same jobs as men or the same work as men. Another right women are still fighting for today is, getting the same opportunities as men, like being able to play football.
Not all text books are equally fair, but in general they are.
This has been an ongoing process that still isn't over. In 1920 women ( except black) got the right to vote with the 19th amendment. Yet, that still didn't give equal rights in many areas. As late as the 1980's the military wouldn't allow women to be fighter pilots, it was in the 1970's that women gained the right to have their own credit. Still, today some companies ( insurance is one) still keeps the main person as the husband. In 1991 I had to get my exhusband's signature to get my own car insurance. If you look at the number of women in government there are less than there are men. A few women run major companies and women as a whole are paid less for doing the same job as man.
