Yes; pretty much all of them, even combined, with the exceptions of Russia and Britain. What I mean is, Israel COULD beat the EU, if the EU did not have Russian or British help. However it could not beat Britain, or Russia, even each country one on one. Israel's numbers, are simply not large enough to mount an invasion, its strength is rooted in defensive warfare, and it could in fact beat most major powers, and the whole of Europe, that is if any European country attacked it even if the whole of the EU attacked it, however if Britain and Russia decided to attack together, it would stand no chance.

The Russian army is too ruthless, while the British, too disciplined. Now, if Israeli soldiers adopted the code of Bushido, the code of Bushido combined with Israeli weaponry would be an extremely deadly combination; even with Russian and British help, if the EU attacked a "Bushido" Israel, it would be a massacre for their side. However, Britain or Russia, all on their own, ARE capable of taking Israel by force if they wanted to. The bulk of, or rather half of Israeli soldiers are honorless cowards, and the whole of the IDF's military brass, overwhelmingly ashkenazi, pretty much all of them are honorless cowards.

Israel is powerful, because its got the most advanced military equipment in the world, but, the Samurai had a saying, that it wasn't enough to have a nice sword, you had to know how to use it. Israel has a "nice sword," but, government corruption, low morale on the part of Misrahi soldiers who know that once their term of service is over they will only return to poverty, these things work together, so that you have a "swordsman" who "doesn't know how to use it." The philosopher Sun Tzu warns, that a government needs to rule its people humanely; what he calls "the way."

"Therefore measure in terms of five things, use these assesments to make comparisons, and thus find out what the conditions are. The Five things are the way, the weather, the terrain, the leadership, and discipline.

The way means inducing the people to have the same aim as the leadership, so that they will share death and share life, without fear of danger."

I stopped short because I'm sure you do not want a war lecture but I will explain the last part; to "induce the people to have the same aim as the leadership" does not mean a Propaganda campaign to brain wash the masses into thinking the enemy is some sort of evil demon, regarding other parts mentioning leadership Sun Tzu repeatedly stresses "humaneness" and "fairness." If a people feel they are being ruled humanely, they will protect the leadership, with their very lives, soldiers will fight as if though the president or prime minister's daughter, were their own. However if any soldiers within the ranks feel they are not being treated with respect, the consequent result, is lowered morale.

Hezbolla was able to deal Israel a defeat, for precisely the reasons warned about by Sun Tzu. The Israeli government, does not rule a large chunk of its population humanely, and in 2006 I believe it was, the IDF paid for it. Also the Gaza operation took longer than it should. Considering these factors, and considering the relatively even distribution of wealth in Britain, its sheer, raw discipline and professionalism, not to mention British motivation to fight for the Queen, you combine that with a high tech military and I'm sorry but, if Britain attacked Israel, Israel would be beaten, and badly too. If the Samurai were the "gold standard" for military discipline, if they were 100%, the Spartans would be 70%, and the Roman army, 50%, Byzantine Cataphractic included. The British army at its peak during the reign of Queen Victoria, gets a rating of 30%. If the "gold standard" are the Samurai, the British army is 30% of that, and with only 30% of that discipline, which was combined with technology and patriotism, they were able to conquer large chunks of the world.

The British military now, still posseses that 30%, only this time, they have ultra high tech equipment.

Again, Israeli soldiers are the laziest, most slovenly military, in the whole of the "western world." The only reason they have over the past 3 decades, been able to easily defeat the Arabs, and why the Arabs are scared of them, is their technology, their technology is in fact so advanced, the IDF's training is very lazy, it only does the minimum disciplinary requirements, the minimum required strictness for a military to be called a "military," but, there is none of the brutality of the Russian army, and none of the deadly serious discipline of the British army. Even today, the British army has the highest disciplinary standards in the world; although not brutal, and although British army trainers don't yell, bark, or scream or any typically "american" things, or at least as much, they DO punish soldiers more frequently, and for smaller, seemingly trivial mistakes. Nothing short of perfection, while drilling and marching, total unison for everything, satisfies them. Additionally, I think the brits take longer to train their soldiers on top of it all.

People forget that Britain is an island, with extremely limited resources, because of that they can not afford ANY ineficiency. Israel NOW, does indeed have better weapons, in fact, than the whole of Europe. There is no military equipment anywhere in Europe, that matches Israeli. Or the world for that matter, however again soldier discipline there stinks, added to that, the inhumanity of the Knesset, Israelis live in fear of it, particularly misrahim. Again that is not good; a country that is scared of its government is not going to have motivated soldiers. The only thing that keeps them fighting, is the constant genocide threats by Muslim extremists.

If the IDF adopted a modified, modernized version of Bushido, then, no sorry John Bull, but it would be a massacre. With that kind of discipline, and with the technology it has, Israel COULD, hypothetically, take on the whole of the EU + Russia and Britain, and inflict casualties as high as 80%. Like I said; it would be a massacre. If it was fighting the EU + Britain and Russia in ADDITION to the whole of the Arab world, Israel would loose half its population, probably, most of its males, but, Israel's enemies would suffer a casualty rate of, yes, 80%. This, without nukes either.

Israel's equipment, its technology, is so far ahead of its time, that if the army had discipline, real discipline, and if said discipline was a modified version of Bushido, not the Arab world, not the EU + Britain and Russia combined, could defeat it. And, the death toll of Israel's enemies would be so catastrophic, that, the Arabs would probably give up Islam. It would be catastrophic for Israel too BUT, the attacking countries would be too frightened to ever pick a fight with it again. However that is only a hypothetical scenario, assuming, the Knesset or some new government, treated all the country's citizen's humanely, there was an even wealth distribution, additionally the IDF used a modernized version of Bushido, if those conditions were met, Israel would be strong enough to take on both the whole of Europe and the Arab world.

However the way it is now, advanced technology and all, either Russia or Britain could smack the crap out of it. It would hold its own but eventually still lose.

Which countries support which sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?

Before Oslo Agreement, every country supported one side, after this agreement: *countries that recognize Israel. *countries that agree with Israeli actions *countries that abstaining for both sides. *countries that support Palestine no matter what. *countries that support both most of the time. We can say that most of the Western countries support Israel, some no matter what and some agree on some things with the Palestinians. Over the years there have been more countries that recognize Israel and support her. In countries where most of the population are religious Muslims or Palestinians, there is problem with recognizing Israel. Many Jews in Europe are afraid that the immigration of Muslims to Europe will make these countries Anti-Israel.
