Yes you can, you are a citizen because of your parent was but you must register with your closest Trinidad Consulate, to do so you must take your father Trinidad documents as Passport or Birth Cirtificate to prove he was a citizen of Trinidad, then you must also take along your birth certificate and ID to prove he is your father. It's really simple it's even faster if you go to Trinidad with your regular passport then apply there for a Trinidad passport.
