raise the car, drain the transmission fluid, remove any exhaust components that will get in the way of the transmission, remove the starter, remove the drive shaft, remove transmission crossmember, use an engine hoist or a jack to support the engine, remove slave cylinder from bellhousing, remove transmission and bellhousing, unbolt pressure plate, inspect all components replace bad parts, reassemble. DON'T FORGET TO REFILL TRANSMISSION
It's attached to the front of the bellhousing on the transmission.
It is doubtful as the bolt pattern on the bellhousing is most likely different.
Replace the speed sensor, usually mounted on the transmission bellhousing.
a-833 overdrive four speed. dodge started making them in 1975. it will bolt up to a 318 provided you have the correct bellhousing for the 318 as the ;leaning tower of power' bellhousing wont fit.

The speed sensor (transmission revolution sensor) is located on the left side of the bellhousing near the top. Access is through the driver's side wheel well. I'm at the wheel well and i cant see the speed sensor
